PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN WHILE INSTALLING ESTIC MU & AU SYSTEMS
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN
WHILE INSTALLING ESTIC MU & AU SYSTEMS
During the installation of Estic
Fixtured controllers & tools some Precautions should be mandatory to take,
otherwise, it may damage the whole system. So now we talk about some handling
as well as some installation precautions.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
·
Keep controller & tool away from
wet environment and also away from the corrosive environment otherwise it may cause
system failure.
·
Use controller & tool incorrect combinations like using a
specified controller with a specified tool only (who are compatible with each
other) otherwise the system can be damaged.
·
Keep cables in safe locations, avoid it from damage otherwise
this may result in electric shock.
·
Always connect both the controllers (AU & MU) to the ground, and otherwise electric shock may occur.
Keep away from the
controller units & motor when they power On. Also after power off, give
them sufficient time to cool down
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
·
Do not use the tool on higher torque
from what the system has designed. Use on over-torque may cause tool damage.
Always use the tool on 80% power from the mentioned torque
·
Do not use the controllers without
blocking the air intake, also prevent the system from foreign particles.
·
Always mount the controller in the right
direction & in the right place, a 10mm gap between all the controllers is
mandatory. Wrong mounting of tool & controller may cause failure.
·
Install the tool with sufficient
support or with a powerful mounting who take care of the fastening jerk of the tool , if tool not mounted properly then it may cause noise, vibration &
reduction in accuracy also occurs in an accident .
·
To keep safe the controller & a tool from fire, make sure that the whole system is installed in nonflammable an environment like away from welding robots, etc.
·
Make sure that if you install a
multi-spindle system so proper gap in tool units is mandatory, it should be
minimum 1 mm, there should not be any interference in tool units otherwise
system failure may occur.
·
Make sure that there should not be
any electrical noise where you are installing the system like there should not
be any working robot or big servo drives. If yes, then install all the
filters with the system like estic recommended clamp filter, noise filter
& zero phase reactor with both MU & AU.
·
Make sure that if you are using the
AU model above from AU50R-10 then always use “three-phase 220V AC” power with
them. Never confused with the Three-phase & Single Phase 220VAC, both are
different. Single-phase only needed with AU50R-10. So use a transformer with the above models.
·
Do proper routing of all the cables
of a system like Power cable, transducer cable, motor cable & resolver
cable. There is always a chance in automatic machines that transducer or motor
cables become damaged because of improper & unprofessional routing. It may
result to change the whole unit like the whole transducer of the tool because they are
directly attached to the transducer.
·
Do not press the buttons of the controller unnecessarily.·
Do not lock the controller, there
should always a fan or some exhaust space in the control panel for the exit of heating.
·
Make sure to check the wiring
diagram, like mentioned voltage & current of both MU & AU for
connected it to external sources with control connector or EX connector.
·
Do not disturb the setting of DIP
switches when it is not mandatory. Make sure that all the DIP switches are in
its default location before starting the controller in both MU & AU.
·
Do not give the excess load on the tool
evil.
